Around Campus: October 2025

Happy October! The leaves are changing, your fall sweaters are finally getting a moment in the sun, and IU is buzzing with activity. Our campus dining specials are also moving into fall, with cozy, warming menus, meals, and drinks to keep you fueled through study sessions, group projects, and those long walks to classes.

There's been a lot of love for Latin cuisine in our dining halls lately. We get it—we’re kind of obsessed with savory, customizable bowls ourselves! That's why we're planning a TBD popup event at McNutt later this month. Keep checking @IUDining on Instagram for details and stay current with info on food specials and giveaways across campus.

Bookmarket sammies so good you might cry

This month, the Restaurants at Bookmarket is featuring two incredible sandwiches: Try a Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich from the Meltdown (with Asian slaw, chili crisp-blend mayo, and freshly grilled chicken on ciabatta) or a King's Hawaiian Gochujang Hot Honey Sandwich (fried chicken, American cheese, cucumber kimchi, shredded lettuce, siracha aioli, and sweet-spicy gochujang honey, all on a King’s Hawaiian bun). We can’t choose a favorite, so come back to try both. IU Meal Plan combo meal scan accepted.
