Diet and Preferences
Vegetarian
We provide a variety of vegetarian options at each dining location. Although many items change daily, common items such as salads, hummus, quinoa, burrito bowls, oat milk, coconut yogurt, and fresh fruit are offered daily.
Vegan
For those following a plant-based diet, options are always available at our AYCTE dining halls. Some items change daily.
Halal
Free From IX concept offers Halal meat. Items with ground beef, chicken breast, chicken thighs, beef roast, lamb, and deli turkey change daily. During Ramadan, suhoor and iftar carry-out refrigerated meals to reheat are available upon request.
Kosher
Kosher items are available in our campus stores. Students following a strict Kosher diet may request a meal plan exemption before Aug. 1.
Beef
For those following a pollotarian diet of semi-vegetarianism in which chicken is allowed, but red meat and pork are not.
Pork
For those who do not consume pork for cultural or religious reasons and those following a pollotarian diet of semi-vegetarianism in which chicken is allowed, but red meat and pork are not.
