Religious Observances
Ramadan meals
During the Muslim holy month of Ramadan that begins on April 1, a period of fasting is observed daily, from sunrise to sunset.
For students fasting during Ramadan, IU Dining offers meals prepared for suhur, the pre-dawn meal and iftar, the post-sunset meal. These meals will come chilled and ready to be reheated. They are available at the following locations:
Students who do not have a microwave oven, will find one near the center desk of their residence hall to reheat their meals. All meals are $10.

Suhoor/Breakfast (daily)
- Vegetable Quiche, Fruit Salad, Granola Bar, Blueberry Muffin, Yogurt
- Egg & Cheese on Chef’s Choice Bread, Fruit Salad, Hard Boiled Egg, Yogurt
Iftar/Dinner
- Monday & Friday: Beef Kofta on Pita with Tzatziki and Fattoush
- Tuesday & Saturday: Shawarma Chicken and Rice Bowl Falafel
- Wednesday: Salmon with Quinoa & Roasted Vegetables
- Thursday & Sunday: Chicken Tikka Masala
- Daily: Hummus/Pita/celery/carrots/olive/peppers/Cucumber box

Easter Brunch will be at Forest on April 17 from 9 a.m.–2 p.m.
