Observing Ramadan with IU Dining

From Friday, February 28 – Sunday, March 30, 2025, IU Dining is here to support students observing Ramadan with a variety of meal options to fit your needs.

Meal plan holders observing Ramadan are invited to enjoy Iftar in the dining halls or reserve a to-go container from Forest or McNutt Dining Hall or any of the other AYCYE dining locations. Students may also use Dining Dollars or Combo Meals to obtain food from retail locations for added convenience.

For Suhoor, students may fill a carry out box with breakfast items such as fruit, yogurt, granola, and more from any of the AYCTE dining locations. Halal protein options are thoughtfully provided at our AYCTE locations, including Goodbody Eatery, Forest Dining (Worry Free), and McNutt Dining (Free From IX).

Prefer something different? Our retail locations also offer Halal certified options, including chicken, meat products, instant noodles, and snacks, all available for carry out with Dining Dollars or Combo Meals.
